Project objective

The aim of the project is to adapt the university to support the acclimatisation process of students at WSEI in Lublin, by modernising information systems, web applications, and the information, publications and materials necessary for international students to function effectively at the Higher School of Economics and Innovation in Lublin. This will also increase the quality of services offered by the institution.

Planned activities

  • Organisation of training for staff.
  • Purchase and expansion of modern applications.
  • Development of employees’ competences in the field of digital skills.
  • The project activities will result in, among other things:
  • an application in English and other languages,
  • online materials,
  • an interactive course of Polish language for foreigners,
  • an application facilitating the preparation of modern informational and educational materials,
  • increased availability of English‑language materials related to study programmes.

These outcomes will contribute to improving the quality of services offered by Lubelska Akademia WSEI for international students.

The evaluation of the project activities will allow better adjustment of procedures, cooperation mechanisms and communication tools, especially in the context of remote work and distance education. In the long term, the project will support the implementation of the university’s development strategy.

Target groups

Participants in the project activities will include:

  • All WSEI staff involved in serving international students and foreign academic staff, working in units responsible for foreign students;
  • international students currently studying at WSEI;
  • foreign academic staff arriving within mobility programmes.
