Social and emotional skills to regulate the mental effects of remote working and promote work satisfaction

REMOTEMO – Social and emotional skills to regulate the mental effects of remote working and promote work satisfaction

Implementation period

01.12.2021 - 01.12.2023

Project objective

Improving managers’ competences in the emotional management of employees in remote working conditions.

Target groups

Employers, management staff and employees working remotely.

Project results

  • A training programme for managers enhancing their competences in the emotional management of employees working remotely, in particular with regard to intrapersonal management (preventing problems such as stress, anxiety, uncertainty, sleep disorders) and interpersonal management (in relation to the impact of remote working on social, family and marital relationships). The training programme will be in the form of podcasts addressing thematic areas that, according to the needs analysis, are particularly problematic in remote working conditions (IO 1).
  • A set of training tools for employees working remotely. Within the project, 30 training modules will be developed, aimed at mitigating the impact of remote working on employees’ mental health, their performance and job satisfaction. The training tools for employees will be in online form and will address areas identified on the basis of the needs analysis conducted among both employees and managers.
  • Case studies on the topic of emotional management in remote working. The case‑study materials prepared within the project will serve as a reference point for the target group in terms of good practices for the emotional management of employees working remotely, enabling their implementation in various organisations across the European Union.

Presentations of good practices in the partner countries.
