Time to Fresh Up: Cultivating Economic Literacy for Resilient Work in Europe

Implementation period

15.12.2021 - 15.12.2023

Project objective

Preparation of information and educational materials for adults for self‑education (Edu‑kit), which are intended to help in acquiring competences concerning labour market issues, with particular emphasis on work in times of transformation, manifests, for example, by climate change, limited access to fossil energy, digitalisation, and the gap between the rich and the poor.

Promoting the development of individual resilience at work, understood as the ability to find creative solutions to the changes and crises that arise.

The project also aims to connect the community of economists, adult educators (teachers) and adult learners by developing a Europe‑wide educational platform on which materials supporting learning through the exchange of opinions and perspectives will be placed.

The materials developed within the project will present the topic of employment through:

  • a microeconomic and macroeconomic perspective,
  • identifying current labour market‑related problems and finding creative solutions,
  • comparison across different views and “economic schools”,
  • social, ethical and political influences shaping and framing economic thinking.

The project also aims to promote the European dimension of economics and multiple perspectives through the exchange of information in an international partnership of six countries.

Planned activities
