Lectures by specialists and scientific sessions combined with discussions and the exchange of insights. This is what the first edition of the workshop dedicated to innovative technologies with artificial intelligence looked like. The workshop took place on February 28th at WSEI University in Lublin. The next edition is coming in April.
The aim of the workshop is to showcase research related to technology, the development of artificial intelligence algorithms, and their applications in business solutions.
-The workshop consists of two parts. The first includes lectures delivered by specialists, while the second features scientific sessions and presentations of achievements by researchers, PhD students, as well as representatives of research and development centers and businesses -explains Dr. hab. Eng. Tomasz Rymarczyk, Professor at WSEI University, organizer of the event and Director of the Institute of Computer Science and Innovative Technologies and the Doctoral School at WSEI University.
Friday's workshop at WSEI University began with a lecture by Dr. hab. Eng. Tomasz Rymarczyk titled "Where we are and where we are going in the development of innovative technologies and artificial intelligence."
The scientific sessions included presentations on topics such as:
More than 50 participants registered for the first edition of the workshop, including PhD students from our University, academic researchers, professionals from the business sector, and representatives of research centers.
-This is just the beginning of a larger project. Further editions of the workshop at WSEI University are planned for April, June, September, October, and December of this year - adds Prof. Rymarczyk.
The event's partners include the Netrix S.A. Research and Development Center and the Research and Development Center for Information Technologies in Rzeszów.
