Medal for WSEI University on the 35th Anniversary of the Professional Self-Government of Nurses and Midwives

The Professional Self-Government of Nurses and Midwives is celebrating its 35th anniversary. On this occasion, the official opening of the jubilee celebrations took place on Thursday at the Lublin Philharmonic. During the event, WSEI  University was honored with a commemorative medal.

Representatives of the University attending the ceremony included the Rector, Mariusz Paździor, PhD, Professor at WSEI University, and the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dorota Weber, PhD, Professor at WSEI University.

During the ceremony, Rector Mariusz Paździor received the commemorative medal awarded to the University on the occasion of the jubilee. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of Lublin as an academic city and highlighted the wide range of educational opportunities available to those who wish to pursue the demanding yet essential profession of a nurse or midwife:

- I am very pleased that Lublin is an academic city, and that people who wish to pursue this challenging profession have access to a broad educational offer at the academic level and can benefit from it. The university I have the honor to represent as Rector has been offering first- and second-cycle Nursing programs for over 15 years.

He also extended congratulations to the entire professional community of nurses and midwives on the occasion of the jubilee and wished them many more successful anniversaries.

The celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the Professional Self-Government of Nurses and Midwives provided an opportunity to highlight the role and importance of this professional group and to recognize the daily, responsible work of nurses and midwives for patients and the entire healthcare system.
