An Advanced Perspective on the Generative AI Integration into Educational Systems (AP-GAIED)

Implementation period

01.02.2025 - 31.01.2027

Project objective

The AP-GAIED project aims to explore and define the potential of generative AI in education, ensuring that its integration is ethical, effective and in line with educational goals. The project aims to define the scope of application of generative AI in educational contexts, identify legal, ethical and real-world issues related to its implementation and propose a comprehensive curriculum for the effective use of generative AI in pedagogy.

Target groups

Direct Target Groups:

  1. Higher Education Institutions: Four higher education institutions will be the primary beneficiaries, integrating the project’s results into their experimental training offers regarding AI integration into the Educational System.
  2. Researchers, Professors, and Administrative Staff: From the partner HEIs.
  3. Undergraduate Students: Will participate in piloting the study module “Generative AI Deployment into Educational System”. Additionally, the module will be made accessible to students from other institutions, promoting critical thinking and the ethical use of AI to a wider student audience.
  4. General Audience: The “GenAI in Education” piloting module will be integrated free of charge into the CVs of IT and Pedagogical Science departments, targeting students from various educational institutions and individuals interested in enhancing their knowledge on the topic. The project partners will make efforts to reach out to community centers, educational institutions, and libraries to ensure that people facing challenges in digital literacy have access to this online module.
  5. Other HEI Representatives and Stakeholders: 250 representatives from HEIs will participate in public events, and 50 HEI staff members will attend webinars. Additionally, 500 stakeholders—including HEI leadership, faculty, quality assurance bodies, research units, student organizations, and social partners.

Project results
