About

The Sports Science & Coaching field of study focuses on acquiring knowledge in the fields of sports education and diagnostics, as well as the ability to interpret data obtained using specialized diagnostic equipment. It also enables students to integrate modern technologies into the training process and to earn UEFA Coach and Personal Trainer certifications.

The study program combines academic knowledge with internships through classes in state-of-the-art laboratories and partnerships with sports clubs and health and recreation institutions.

The field of study has a practical focus and offers a choice of one of two specializations:

  • Physical Education Coaching – focused on developing coaching and teaching skills,
  • Sports Management – focusing on organizational, managerial, and marketing aspects within the sports environment.

  • Collaboration with sports clubs, soccer academies, and medical centers—WSEI actively collaborates with regional and national sports organizations, enabling students to participate in internships, professional internships, and research projects in a real-world sports environment.
  • Opportunities to participate in study visits, fieldwork, and e-learning courses – the University focuses on diverse forms of education that allow students to gain experience both through internships (e.g., at sports camps) and remotely, using modern educational platforms.
  • An individualized approach to students and digital tools supporting education – WSEI promotes a culture of support, develops academic tutoring and mentoring, and offers access to educational e-platforms, thanks to which every student can learn at their own pace and receive assistance and guidance regarding their career path.

Specializations

This specialization focuses on developing coaching and teaching skills. The program covers sports training methodology, sports psychology, physical conditioning, and physical education pedagogy. Graduates of this program are prepared to work as personal trainers and coaches at sports clubs and academies.

This specialization prepares students for managerial and organizational roles in the sports sector. Students learn about planning and organizing sporting events, club management, sports marketing, and the fundamentals of law and finance in sports. It is the ideal path for those who see their future as sports managers, event organizers, club administrators, or marketing specialists in the sports industry.
