WHAT DOES PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT PROVIDE?

The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme helps future European entrepreneurs acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to set up or run their own successful business in Europe. Start‑up entrepreneurs meet and exchange knowledge and ideas about running a business with experienced entrepreneurs with whom they stay and cooperate.

from 1 month to 6 months

FUNDING

Yes, the stay is partially funded by the European Commission.

EACH START‑UP ENTREPRENEUR BENEFITS FROM:

• on‑the‑job training in a small or medium‑sized enterprise in another Participating Country,
• support in setting up their own business or strengthening an already existing enterprise,
• access to new markets, international cooperation and potential opportunities for cooperation with partners from abroad.

EACH HOST ENTREPRENEUR BENEFITS FROM:

• new ideas from an active start‑up entrepreneur, which can be applied in the experienced entrepreneur’s company,
• the start‑up entrepreneur may possess skills or knowledge that the experienced entrepreneur lacks, thus providing a perfect complement,
• most host entrepreneurs value this experience so highly that they decide to host further start‑up entrepreneurs or to continue cooperation after the project period within a long‑term business partnership (e.g. joint‑venture company, subcontracting, client‑supplier relationships, etc.).
