The Golden Emblem of the Highest Quality QI PRODUCT 2026 and the QI Pearl 2026 for WSEI University

The first education and practical training system in Poland based on the sensory processing sensitivity model, implemented by the WSEI University, has gained recognition from experts. The programme, offered as part of the Psychology degree course, has been awarded the Quality International 2026 Gold Emblem for Highest Quality in the Product category. Furthermore, our University has also received a special award – the QI Pearl 2026 – as a three-time winner of Gold Emblem

- The jury highly commended this innovative and pioneering solution, which is being systematically implemented at a Polish university; it combines the education of future specialists, the development of diagnostic tools, and the creation of practical support models that comprehensively address the needs associated with identifying, understanding and supporting highly sensitive individuals – explains Magdalena Tułecka from the editorial team of Forum Biznesu, organiser of the QI Highest Quality Programme.

The QI 2026 Gold Emblem is the third consecutive award received by the University. In 2025, the institution was honoured in the Management category for its Information Security Management System, whilst in 2021 it received an award in the QI Services category for its top-quality educational services.

- The Programme Committee has therefore unanimously decided to award WSEI University a special prize – the QI Pearl 2026 statuette – which will be presented during the European Business Forum 2026,” emphasises editor Magdalena Tułecka. She adds: - Over the course of more than 25 years of operation, WSEI University has established itself as the largest private university in eastern Poland, gaining recognition for its practical approach to preparing students for careers and its extensive collaboration with businesses in this regard. Today, it is the regional leader in terms of preparing graduates for the needs of the labour market.

- We are delighted to have received these awards, as they demonstrate that our University is moving in the right direction and is even ahead of trends in the field of education – notes Teresa Bogacka, Dr h.c., President of WSEI University. - We must undertake new actions and initiatives to ensure that our educational offering is attractive, but also that it meets the needs of both the labour market and society. The first education and practical training system in Poland based on the sensory processing sensitivity model, which our University is implementing under the supervision of PhD Monika Baryła-Matejczuk, Professor at WSEI Univesrsity, is precisely the answer to the needs of children and young people who require special support. It comprises a range of activities carried out in cooperation with international partners and supported by EU funds.

The education and practice system based on the Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS) model is a pioneering educational and practical solution in Poland, which comprehensively addresses the needs associated with identifying, understanding and supporting people with high Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS). It combines three fundamental components: the training of future specialists, the development and validation of diagnostic tools, and the development and implementation of practical support models.

- Programme uniquely combines advanced theoretical knowledge (neurobiology, psychology) with concrete, practical solutions ready for implementation in educational institutions, psychology practices and everyday life. It provides support for highly sensitive individuals throughout their entire life cycle – from early childhood (nursery, school), through adolescence (university, entering the job market), to adulthood (professional career, relationships, well-being). Thre is not a one-off initiative, but a systematically conducted, cyclical activity embedded within the University’s structure, which ensures its sustainability, development and improvement - explains PhD Monika Baryła-Matejczuk, Professor at WSEI University.

The QI Highest Quality Competition is held under the patronage of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the Polish Committee for Standardisation and the Department of Process Management at the University of Economics in Krakow. It is organised by the editorial teams of Forum Biznesu and Biznes Trendy.
