Nearly 800 secondary school students from across the region visited our university as part of the Open Days at the WSEI University in Lublin – It was really interesting – said the students.
- I really liked the WSEI University. I was curious about all the fields of study and what the University has to offer - says Natalia from Piotr Firlej High School No. 2 in Lubartów. The majors were presented to us in a very interesting way – so much so that I was focused the entire time. What I liked most was that I had the opportunity to see for myself what studying at WSEI University is like.
During the event, which took place at our University on February 10-13 this year, students and teachers had the opportunity to participate in numerous lectures and workshops, as well as see the modern infrastructure of the WSEI University, campus, and laboratories.
The scope of classes, workshops, and presentations covered a wide range of topics – from healthy lifestyles and first aid workshops to lectures on human psychology, presentations on the capabilities of thermal imaging cameras and drones, and securing evidence in forensics. There were also discussions on working in the uniformed services, online hate speech, and workshops on the use of artificial intelligence. The classes were prepared and conducted by lecturers from our University.
Participation in academic classes was a very important experience for our high school students, emphasize teachers from the United Nations High School No. 1 in Biłgoraj, who took part in the Open Days at WSEI University. -Such an event is a boost for both sides – for the university - they said it is good promotion for the courses it offers, and for the students, it is an opportunity to see what the University looks like from the inside, with its lecture halls and classes.
Thank you all for your presence, curiosity, and positive energy. We hope to see you in class soon!
