Originating from Kazakhstan, the artist combines studying Psychology at WSEI University with developing her talent and creativity in Poland. Valeriya Litvinova, a Psychology student, became the laureate of our competition “Uncovering the Stars of WSEI University.” The jury recognized her activities in the category of Hobbies and Interests.
Since her arrival in Lublin, Valeriya Litvinova has actively participated in the artistic life of both the city and the country, diligently building her position on the Polish contemporary art scene. Her presence in Lublin’s cultural space has been marked, among others, by a solo exhibition at the Lublin Cultural Center, which attracted significant interest. Beyond local activities, she has also taken part in five group exhibitions organized at the renowned Desa Unikum gallery in Warsaw, which for years has promoted both established and promising artists.
- My creative process begins with finding inspiration. Currently, I am at a stage where people and their emotions inspire me. My psychology studies have had a huge impact on this. I believe that this field has shaped my artistic work in some way, - says our student - Of course, I am also inspired by other artists, colors, and nature - she adds.
Valeriya Litvinova works with drawing, acrylic and oil painting, as well as digital art and design. She is the author of illustrations for books and comics, among others.
