Cooperation in organizing student internships, joint scientific and research projects, conferences, and study visits – these are the provisions of the agreement signed on Tuesday, May 27, by authorities of our University and the company C2C.
C2C Sp. z o.o. is one of the largest producers of ecological and biodegradable plastic packaging in Poland.
-I am deeply convinced that this agreement will be beneficial for both parties. The role of a university is no longer limited to teaching and educating. A third role has emerged -commercialization of research, its development, presentation, and implementation,-said Prof. Marek Opielak, Prof. Dr. Eng, Rector of WSEI University.
-Our students can write their master's theses by conducting various analyses and research based on the company's needs, which it can later use. Moreover, by accepting our students for internships, the company is essentially training its future employees. This is a very important element of the cooperation, - emphasized Teresa Bogacka, President of WSEI University.
Krzysztof Stachyra, President of the Management Board of C2C Sp. z o.o., thanked the University Authorities for the cooperation opportunities:
-We have had very positive experiences with students and often recruit such individuals. We are strong advocates of continuous professional development and preparing young people for work, so they stay with us for years,- he said.
The agreement signed on Tuesday includes cooperation in organizing student internships, joint scientific and research projects, conferences, and study visits for students of the Faculty of Transport and IT at WSEI University.
The event was attended by representatives of both institutions:
Signing the agreement marks another step towards effective cooperation between the academic environment and business, allowing students to gain valuable experience and the company to attract young, ambitious professionals.
