WSEI University has signed a cooperation agreement with PGS Group Sp. z o.o. The partnership focuses on joint initiatives in education and the organization of student internships for fields such as Computer Science, Mechatronics, Logistics, and Transport.
PGS Group has been active on the market for over 15 years, specializing in the comprehensive service of logistics equipment, in particular forklifts.
- Most inventions end at the prototype stage. In the new facility we are building, we want to create a space where people - whenever it is connected with what we do - can come and apply their knowledge and research results in practice - says Szymon Tryksza, CEO of PGS Group Sp. z o.o.
The cooperation will include organizing internships and practical training, co-developing study programs, delivering guest lectures, carrying out joint research projects, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience between academia and business.
- PGS is developing dynamically, and by signing this agreement the company will benefit from solutions in the field of research and development. In turn, the University will gain valuable publications and opportunities for knowledge transfer. This partnership will be beneficial for both sides - emphasizes Prof. Marek Opielak, Rector of WSEI University.
The official signing ceremony took place on September 26, and was attended by Teresa Bogacka, President of WSEI University Prof. Marek Opielak, Rector of WSEI University, PhD. Eng. Michalina Gryniewicz-Jaworska, Dean of the Faculty of Transport and Computer Science at WSEI University, Szymon Tryksza, CEO of PGS Group Sp. z o.o.; Wojciech Wlaźlik, Sales Director and Marek Droździel, Deputy Technical Director.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between academia and industry while enabling students to acquire real-world professional skills aligned with the demands of today’s labor market.
