Dr hab. Tomasz Rymarczyk, prof. at WSEI University and Director of the Research and Development Center at Netrix S.A., has been awarded in “Teraz Polska” competition for a hybrid tomograph for assessing the condition of buildings, which he developed with his team.
On Monday, June 2nd, at National Philharmonic in Warsaw, a ceremonial gala was held to conclude this year’s edition of “Teraz Polska” competition. During the event, statuettes were awarded to 24 laureates: 14 products, 7 services, and 3 innovations.
It was in Innovations category that Prof. Tomasz Rymarczyk received recognition for hybrid tomograph for assessing condition of buildings, which he developed with Netrix Center team.
- The awarded hybrid tomograph for assessing building conditions is the result of many years of research and interdisciplinary collaboration. This solution opens new possibilities in technical diagnostics of building structures. The device is unique not only on scale of Poland or European Union but also worldwide, setting a new standard in the industry - emphasizes Prof. Rymarczyk.
“Teraz Polska” emblem was presented to him by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski.
The innovative tomograph is dedicated, among other uses, to non-invasive diagnostics of dampness and damage in walls, which is crucial for maintaining infrastructure and architectural heritage.
Nomination for “Teraz Polska” Emblem is not only a prestigious distinction but also evidence of thorough evaluation by independent experts and research institutes. Each submission was assessed in terms of quality, innovativeness, usability, and development potential.
- This year’s edition demonstrated great potential of Polish enterprises. The high level of competition is evidenced by number of nominees. For a long time, this group has not exceeded 50 companies - says Michał Lipiński, director of “Teraz Polska” Competition. He also notes that all submissions share one thing: high quality and readiness to compete not only in domestic market but also internationally.
“Teraz Polska” distinction is proof of recognition for pioneering approach to research and practical implementations that combine latest scientific achievements and advanced technologies.
- Receiving this award confirms innovativeness and commitment to developing modern technologies in tomography and artificial intelligence. It confirms that Polish science and technological innovations can set global trends - summarizes Prof. Rymarczyk.
So far, over 850 laureates have been awarded in “Teraz Polska” competition.
