In the latest edition of Perspektywy 2025 Academic University Ranking, WSEI University has been ranked 14th nationwide among non-public academic universities. This confirms the strong and well-established position of WSEI University on Poland’s educational map.
The evaluation in Perspektywy ranking is based on seven key criteria. The first is prestige (12%), which includes the assessment of the academic community and the university’s standing in international rankings. The second criterion is graduates on the labor market (12%), measured by graduate salaries and employment duration.
The next area is research potential (13%), which takes into account the results of scientific discipline evaluations, the proportion of faculty holding professorial titles or habilitation degrees, doctoral and post-doctoral qualifications, and the number of PhD candidates in doctoral schools. The most heavily weighted category is academic effectiveness (30%), which includes research funding, success in securing EU program grants, development of academic staff, and the quality and reach of scientific publications.
Innovation (8%) is also an important criterion, measured by the number of national and international patents and the university's contribution to the implementation of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Learning conditions (10%) assess faculty availability for students as well as accreditations and quality certifications. The final criterion, internationalization (15%), evaluates the participation of international students and staff, programs offered in foreign languages, academic mobility, and membership in European university networks.
These factors together placed WSEI University in 14th position among the top non-public academic universities in Poland. The first place was awarded to Kozminski University in Warsaw.
