Nearly 100 graduates of the Polish- and English-language Nursing programmes at WSEI University’s Warsaw Branch received their graduation diplomas. – It was a challenging but rewarding journey toward a new profession. We are proud to have completed it – the graduates emphasized.
The graduation ceremony took place on Friday, July 31.
This special occasion marked the symbolic culmination of years of intensive study, clinical training, and the development of the knowledge and skills essential for one of the most demanding and responsible professions.
The ceremony brought together graduates of the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Nursing, offered in both Polish and English, as well as their families and loved ones, representatives of the University authorities, academic staff, and invited guests.
Opening the ceremony, Anna Ślifirczyk, PhD, Professor, at WSEI University and Dean of WSEI University’s Warsaw Branch, emphasized that nursing is not only a profession but, above all, a vocation founded on responsibility, empathy, and compassion for others.
- Today, our graduates are beginning a new chapter in their professional careers, joining the community of healthcare professionals who bring care, support, and hope to patients every day - she said.
On behalf of the Authorities of WSEI University, Mirosław Jarosz, MD, PhD, Professor at WSEI University, congratulated the graduates and wished them every success in their future professional and personal lives.
One of the students on the English-taught Nursing programme highlighted the extraordinary journey undertaken by graduates who had come to Poland from all corners of the world to fulfil their dreams of becoming nurses: – Three years ago, students from various countries walked through the doors of WSEI University full of hope, dreams and determination, but also with a sense of uncertainty. For many of us, it was our first time in Poland – far from home and our loved ones. Today, we can proudly say that we’ve made it. We’d like to thank the University and all the lecturers for their support, knowledge and commitment, which have enabled us to reach this special day.
A graduate of the Polish-language programme, in turn, highlighted the significance of her chosen profession: - Nursing studies are not easy. At first, those three years of intensive study and practical training seemed almost impossible to achieve. It was a bit of a survival course – exams, placements, anatomy and many hours of hard work – which is why we’re proud that we persevered and made it through,- she said.
We wish all graduates every success, satisfaction in their chosen profession and an unwavering passion for helping others.
