Teddy bears, cars, puzzles, books and sweets – previously empty boxes are filling up with presents for the charges of the Lublin Little Prince Hospice for Children. It’s all part of our Christmas for Hospice campaign, which you can still join.
The action, organised by the community of Lublin's WSEI University, has recently been launched, and the mountain of toys which reach us grows day by day. The donations are brought by both students and employees of WSEI University, as well as people who are friends of our University.
On Tuesday, a whole packet of colourful teddy bears was donated by the Rector of WSEI University, Prof. Marek Opielak: - We need to help children - he commented briefly.
Also last Sunday, presents for the Hospice charges were collected during the Santa Claus U12 Football Tournament on the Lublinianka pitch. Thanks to the commitment of the young players and their families, toys were collected which we hope will put a smile on the faces of many children.
Our ‘Christmas for Hospice’ campaign is still ongoing. We are collecting, among other things, Lego blocks, cars, dolls, mascots for girls, playing toys for children up to the age of four and board games for children and young people.
Donations are being collected until 16 December. Before Christmas we will hand them over to the Hospice to go into children's Christmas packages.
Gifts can be left in the box at the main entrance to WSEI University building, brought to room 210 (Marketing and PR Department) or handed over to the students involved in the campaign - students of the ‘Progressus’ Pre-school and Early Childhood Pedagogy Scientific Circle, the Scientific Circle at the Monoprofile Medical Simulation Centre, the ‘Logi-start’ Logistics Scientific Circle, the Psychology Student Volunteers or to the WSEI University Student Government.
Thank you for all your gifts!
Join our campaign, donate a toy and a smile to sick children!
