Meet the 50,000th student of WSEI University

Ms. Marta Lipińska has become the 50,000th student of  WSEI University. This will be the number featured on her student record book.

You started your master's studies at  WSEI  University in the summer semester of 2024/2025. Why did you choose our university?

– I completed my bachelor's degree at Lublin University of Technology, earning the title of civil engineering engineer. Initially, I had no plans to pursue a second-degree program, but after a one-year break, I decided that I wanted to obtain a full education. I chose WSEI  University after numerous recommendations from friends and positive reviews about it..

You chose the field of Transport. It’s quite an unusual choice for women, as the transport industry is typically associated with men. What made you choose this career path?

– In high school, I was in a class specializing in logistics technician and graduated with high scores on vocational exams, so the transport sector is not unfamiliar to me. Furthermore, I wanted to obtain a master's degree in the field of civil engineering, but I wanted something different from the aforementioned construction field. It’s true that the transport industry is associated with men, but looking at the actual employment of women in this field, you can see that it's constantly increasing.

What are your other interests?

– My passion is photography and wedding videography. Together with my fiancé, we run a business in this field, and it’s my second job – a kind of escape. Besides that, I love cats and good Italian food.

Is the number 50,000 lucky for you – do you have any associations or memories connected to it?

– No, this number is completely random to me. However, I must admit that it will now have a pleasant association.

Where do you see yourself after graduating  WSEI University?

– I would like to continue developing in my current job, but I prefer not to reveal my position. Earning a master's degree will be a personal success and a source of pride, tied to self-development and self-realization.
