Great hearts of donors and a mountain of gifts as part of the ‘Christmas for Hospice’ campaign

Teddy bears, musical toys, puzzles, building blocks and toy cars, as well as cosmetics with emollients and sweets – all of this was donated as part of our ‘Christmas for Hospice’ campaign. On Friday, we delivered the gifts to the Lublin Hospice for Children named after the Little Prince. They will be included in Christmas packages for the facility’s young patients.

- This was another edition of our campaign; last year we also collected a huge number of donations for the children from the Hospice. This year, once again, many people responded to our appeal and joined the 'Christmas for Hospice' campaign. Thanks to this, we were able to donate dozens, if not hundreds, of gifts - it is difficult to count them all - says PhD Sylwia Szewc-Koryszko, Director of the Marketing and PR Department at WSEI University - We extend our heartfelt thanks to all students, employees and friends of our University for opening their hearts, joining our campaign and donating toys and cosmetics for the patients of the Lublin Hospice for Children named after the Little Prince. A small gesture has great power.

We collected donations not only at our University. Gifts were also donated by the Lublin Football Association, and they were brought in by children and their parents from various institutions across our voivodeship. The following joined the campaign:

• Private Kindergarten „Bajkowy Dworek" in Lublin,
• Private Kindergarten i Żłobek „Tęczowy Domek” in Świdnik,
• 3 branches of Private Kindergarten Jezusa Miłosiernego in Puławy and Non-public Primary School Jezusa Miłosiernego in Puławy,
• Primary School named after Orła Białego in Samoklęski,
• Kindergarten nr 50 in Lublin.

The collections there were coordinated by students from the Progressus Scientific Circle of Preschool and Early School Pedagogy at WSEI University together with our lecturer Katarzyna Opoka. These students also served shifts at our University, collecting donations.

- Wonderful donors of the Little Prince, we sincerely thank you for every gesture of kindness and help shown to our patients. Today we received donations that will be passed on to our children. Thank you very much for this - emphasizes Agnieszka Jarzyna from the Lublin Hospice for Children named after the Little Prince.

A diploma of appreciation for our University was also presented by Dr. Filip Buczyński, President of the Hospice: - The Lublin Hospice for Children named after the Little Prince extends its heartfelt thanks to WSEI University for organizing the ‘Christmas for Hospice’ campaign and for donating gifts for our Patients. We wish you much joy in providing selfless help and invite you to further cooperation in creating and carrying out the mission that is the Hospice.

Thank you all! May the goodness you have shown now return to you!
