Exchange of experience, talks on joint research, staff and student exchange, and finally the signing of a cooperation agreement. This is the result of a visit by representatives of WSEI University to universities in East Africa.
A delegation from WSEI University met with representatives of partner universities in Tanzania - the University of Dar es Salaam and the MKWAWA University College of Education (MUCE) in Iringa.
WSEI University was represented by Tomasz Wołowiec, Ph.D., Prof. at WSEI University - Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation, Prof. Janusz Gudowski - Director of the Institute of Public Administration and Business at WSEI University, and Marcin Solan, Director of the English Studies Office.
The visit resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement with universities in Dar es Salaam and Iringa.
- Our cooperation concerns, among other things, joint research and publications, the organisation of joint seminars, conferences and academic meetings, as well as the exchange of students and academic staff - explains Marcin Solan, Director of the English Studies Office.
Prof. Tomasz Wołowiec adds: - In addition to defining the principles of scientific, research and teaching cooperation and organising joint conferences, we have also defined guidelines for the preparation of a joint degree programme based on the dual degree model.
WSEI University lecturers also gave lectures to the Tanzanian students and presented our University's offer to study in English.
The trip from 4-8 November 2024 was organised as part of the Erasmus Plus programme.
It was an exciting visit rich in inspiring experiences.
