Christmas Wafer Meeting of the Forum of Universities of the Third Age of the Lublin Region at WSEI University

In a warm and festive atmosphere, a Christmas wafer meeting was held for seniors belonging to the Forum of Universities of the Third Age of the Lublin Region, an association founded by our University. It was also an opportunity to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the Association’s activity.

- Welcome to the halls of WSEI University in Lublin. Our tradition of meeting together has continued for six years - on December 4, 2019, our Forum of Universities of the Third Age of the Lublin Region was officially established - began the meeting the President of WSEI University, Teresa Bogacka, Doctor honoris causa. - We cultivate not only holiday traditions, but you also have the opportunity to participate in lectures delivered by our academic staff and in workshops. I would not want you to feel like guests within the walls of the University, but rather that we may work together and develop our community.

The meeting was also an occasion to express gratitude and appreciation to our University.

- We extend our sincere thanks for all the cooperation to everyone who works with us. But the greatest thanks, on behalf of the Association, go to President Teresa Bogacka, who this year received the title of Doctor honoris causa - our heartfelt congratulations - emphasized Barbara Zajączkowska, Chairwoman of Forum of Universities of the Third Age of the Lublin Region - We would also like to thank Ms. Ewa Golec and her colleagues, who are always ready to help and show great commitment. Thanks to them, we feel like part of the University community, and we are very grateful for that.

After the official speeches and greetings, there was time for a shared prayer led by Fr. Adam Raczkowski, PhD, Professor at WSEI University. After the prayer and carol singing, everyone shared the Christmas wafer and exchanged holiday wishes.
