Wednesday afternoon at the WSEI Univerity saw a warm Christmas gathering of our University’s students together with the authorities and lecturers, who celebrated this special time together.
At the beginning of the ceremony, PhD Mariusz Paździor, Professor at the WSEI University and Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs, emphasised the great value of peace both in the world and in everyday academic life: - I wish everyone that the coming years of study will be spent in an atmosphere of mutual respect, understanding and safety, and that the time spent at the university will bring not only knowledge, but also satisfaction, inspiration and the fulfilment of personal plans and dreams - he said to the students.
There were also traditional Christmas elements – reading the Gospel according to St. Luke, breaking bread together and talking about the symbolism of Christmas.
It was a time full of joy, reminding everyone what is most important during the Christmas season. - Christmas teaches us that the most important things happen not in notes, but between people. I am very happy to be able to participate in this meeting - said Mikołaj Bryndza, a student of E-Business: E-marketing & E-commerce and a member of the Student Council.
Thank you all for coming and celebrating with us. May the Christmas spirit stay with us for a long time!
