Beata Wójcik, PhD in Health Sciences, lecturer at Lublin WSEI Unoversity and Program Coordinator for the Physiotherapy and Sports Diagnostics & Coaching degree programs, has been elected as a Member of the National Council of Physiotherapists in Poland for the 2026–2030 term. The election took place during the 3rd National Congress of Physiotherapists, held in May 2026 in Warsaw.
The National Council of Physiotherapists is the executive body of the National Chamber of Physiotherapists the professional body representing all physiotherapists in Poland. (KRF)
The Council is responsible, amongst other things, for overseeing the proper practice of the profession, setting standards for education and professional development, and representing the physiotherapy community in dealings with state institutions.
The appointment of PhD Beata Wójcik is a recognition of her more than 25 years of clinical experience and academic achievements in the field of physiotherapy, with particular emphasis on urogynaecological physiotherapy, functional diagnostics and perinatal rehabilitation.
It is also a significant honour for the entire academic community of the WSEI University, whose representative will help shape the future direction of the physiotherapy profession on a national scale.
