We have had two intense days packed with knowledge, inspiration, practical workshops and discussions about the future of the game development industry. This year’s event – the fourth edition – brought together nearly 400 game development enthusiasts from all over Poland, ranging from those taking their first steps to seasoned experts.
The event was organised by University WSEI and the Lublin GameDev Foundation. The LubGame Conference 2026 took place on 13 -14 June 2026 at our University.
- During the conference, we discussed topics including game design and production, programming, 3D modelling, animation, game testing, marketing, accessibility, game porting, the use of AI in creative work, and how to find your career path in the games industry. An important part of the event were also practical workshops on programming, game design and 3D modelling, which allowed participants to gain specific skills and experience – reports PhD Michalina Gryniewicz-Jaworska, Professor at WSEI University and Dean of the Faculty of Transport and Information Technology. She adds: - These were two days that showed that the City of Lublin has enormous potential to become a key location on the map of Polish game development.
As Patryk Gałach, co-founder of the Lublin GameDev Foundation, explains, this year’s edition brought many new features: - For the first time, we organised an expert and industry panel, as well as the ‘Golden Goats’ awards ceremony in four categories: Best Visuals, Most Unique Project, Community Award and The Best of the Conference.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of: the Governor of Lublin Province, the Mayor of Lublin, and the Polish Information Processing Society.
