PRO‑MOTION. Sensitive career management

Project objective

The aim of the project is to develop solutions supporting career planning both for secondary and vocational school pupils, university students using university career offices, and for employees of labour market institutions and HR departments.

 

The issues addressed in the project concern the topic of high sensitivity and the related risk factors as well as protective factors.

Target groups

  • Learners – at the stage of career choice, jobseekers / people changing occupations, long‑term unemployed individuals.
  • Career counsellors: school‑based, academic, and representatives of labour market institutions.
  • HR departments in companies.
  • Institutional partners: Labour Market Institutions, Career Offices, schools, employers.

Project results

An international report on managing one’s own potential by highly sensitive people in the workplace, prepared on the basis of quantitative research (questionnaire surveys) and qualitative research (including interviews, focus groups with employers and employees in the partner countries: Poland, Spain, Romania, Norway, Italy and Portugal).

  • A model for supporting highly sensitive people in the workplace – an introduction to the materials developed within the project.
  • A tool supporting career planning / career development – sensitivity in the workplace.
  • A handbook and exercise materials for career counsellors.
  • A handbook for HR and podcasts presenting the topic of high sensitivity to employers.
