On the applications of artificial intelligence at WSEI University

Another scientific and technological workshop focusing on general and generative artificial intelligence has taken place. The event was held on Friday, 13 March, as part of the series ‘Workshop – Innovative technologies and applications of artificial intelligence’.

- The aim of the workshops is to present the latest research findings and practical applications of artificial intelligence in science and industry explains the organiser of the events, Dr  hab. Tomasz Rymarczyk, Professor at  WSEI University and Director of the Doctoral School at  WSEI University

The event was attended by representatives of the academic community, PhD students, undergraduates and specialists involved in the development of information technology and AI systems.

During Friday’s meeting, issues relating to the development of modern artificial intelligence systems were discussed, in particular generative AI models and the concept of general artificial intelligence.

Participants discussed the differences between the human biological cognitive system and algorithmic models of artificial intelligence, as well as current trends in research on learning systems.

- The materials presented highlight, among other things, the importance of generative models, large language models and hybrid approaches that integrate machine learning with physical knowledge and mathematical models, adds Prof. Rymarczyk.
