About the course

This is an online intensive language preparation program aimed at achieving B2 level in Polish for further studies in Poland. The course provides systematic language training with assessment of listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills, and after completion and successful passing of the exam, students receive a course completion certificate. Participants who pass the exam will receive a certificate of completion of the preparatory course for studies at WSEI University.

Who the course is for

For students and applicants aged 16+ who:

  • plan to apply to WSEI University,
  • need an official confirmation of their language proficiency level,
  • plan to live or work in Poland.

Students’ progress each month

Month 1

Basic communication: introductions, simple present tense sentences, numbers, colors, days of the week, short stories about yourself and your daily routine.

Month 2

Everyday communication: shopping, food, family, clothing, housing, past and future tenses in simple situations, comparisons.

Month 3

More fluent conversation: city, transport, leisure, emotions, greetings, basic use of cases.

Month 4

Functional language: requests, instructions, complaints, conditional sentences, active leisure, longer statements with reasons and explanations.

Month 5

Everyday and cultural topics: movies, books, sports, technology, services, confident use of numerals.

Month 6

Practical language: documents, institutions, travel, more complex sentence structures, expressing your own opinion.

Month 7

Argumentation and abstract topics: work, social issues, transport, use of more advanced grammar forms.

Month 8

Extended speaking: environment, health, impersonal constructions, social communication, stylistic accuracy.

Month 9

Fluent language use: discussions, persuasion, formal style, telephone and workplace situations.

What’s included and the price

The program includes:

  • 9 months of intensive study,
  • 600 teaching hours,
  • learning based on an original methodology,
  • an official university certificate confirming the language level — after completing the program.

Course fee: 5,700 PLN. Possibility of payment in installments of 3 x PLN 1900.

In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of Ordinance (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), we hereby inform you that:

  1. The administrator of the personal data you have provided is WSEI University, Projektowa 4 St, 20-209 Lublin, entered in the Register of Non-Public Universities kept by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education under number 196, e-mail address: kancelaria@wsei.pl (hereinafter referred to as: WSEI University).
  2. WSEI University has appointed a Personal Data Inspector, who can be contacted by email at: iod@wsei.pl
  3. Your personal data will be processed by WSEI University for the purpose of conducting the admission procedure for studies at the WSEI University and, in the event of admission to studies, for the purpose of documenting the course of studies (the education process).
  4. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is:
    1. the need to fulfill the legal obligation incumbent on the WSEI University as a personal data administrator under the provisions of law – Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, including the Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended), the provisions of the Ordinance of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of September 27, 2018, on studies (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023 item 2787), and other generally applicable provisions of law in the field of higher education law, as well as obligations arising from financial regulations concerning the issuance of invoices, keeping accounting books, and other financial documentation;
    2. necessity for the performance of a contract or taking steps at the request of the WSEI University prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) – exercising rights and obligations arising from the contract on the terms and conditions of study and fees for educational services;
    3. in matters relating to the pursuit of claims arising from its activities, defense against such claims, within the framework of the legitimate interests of the WSEI University as a personal data administrator (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
  5. Providing personal data is voluntary, but it is necessary in order to complete the admission process for studies at the WSEI University and to commence studies.
  6. In order to ensure the safety and protection of persons and property, video surveillance has been introduced at WSEI University facilities. Therefore, we also process your image. The legal basis for image processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR—the legitimate interest of WSEI University as the personal data administrator.
  7. Access to your personal data may have:
    1. authorized employees of the WSEI University;
    2. service providers who have been entrusted by contract with the processing of data for the purposes of providing services to the WSEI University;
    3. entities and authorities authorized to receive data on the basis of legal provisions.
  8. WSEI University will store your data:
    1. in the event of not being accepted for studies – for a period of 12 months from the date of completion of the admission process;
    2. in the case of admission to studies – for the duration of studies (the education process), as well as the period of archiving the student's file, which is 50 years from the date of graduation (including the time necessary to fulfill the agreement on the terms of study and fees for educational services and the expiry of the limitation period for pursuing claims).
  9. In connection with the processing of data by the WSEI University, you have the right to access your personal data, the right to rectify it, delete it, and the right to restrict its processing. If the data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data.
  10. If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the EU GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
  11. WSEI University does not plan to transfer the personal data of Contractors to third countries, i.e., countries outside the European Economic Area. This data will also not be subject to profiling, which means that it will not be used to automatically assign specific properties or characteristics to you, nor will it be used to predict your behavior or preferences. The data will be processed in a partially automated manner in IT systems.
