Are you a creative person who enjoys challenges? Take part in LubJam 2026 – the local edition of the 12th Global Game Jam, an event during which you will create your own computer or board game project in 48 hours.
- LubJam 2026 is not only a game development marathon, but above all a space for collaboration, knowledge exchange and creativity development. We want to show that innovative ideas are born where passion, technology and the courage to take on challenges meet - emphasises PhD Michalina Gryniewicz-Jaworska, Professor at the WSEI Unversity, Dean of the Faculty of Transport and Information Technology. She adds: - LubJam 2026 fits perfectly with the mission of the WSEI University, which educates future game developers in the field of computer game development, graphics and interactive technologies. This event shows how theory meets practice – how passion, creativity and modern technologies translate into real projects. We want to inspire young people to experiment boldly, work in teams and develop the skills that are crucial in today's gaming and interactive media industry.
LubJam is 48 hours of intensive, collaborative creative work. On site, participants will be divided into groups tasked with designing and developing a game from scratch. It is an excellent opportunity to develop creativity, gain new experience, and meet people who are passionate about game development.
LubJam 2026 will take place at the headquarters of WSEI University at ul. Projektowa 4, from 30 January to 1 February 2026.
The event is open to everyone – both those taking their first steps in game development and experienced creators. All you need to bring is your laptop and an extension cord.
The event is organised by the Lublin GameDev Foundation and WSEI University.
