The University of Economics and Computer Science in Warsaw was established on 10 July 1996 following the permission of the Ministry of National Education and Sport No. DNS-1-0145/104/TBM/96 and listed in the register of non-state universities under No.93.
Since its beginnings it ensures high standard of education and its main objective is the best possible preparation of the graduates to apply in the future for high and attractive positions on the labour market.
The University’s educational standards have been set by its academic staff. The University of Economics and Computer Science employs over 260 academics, including 90 professors and senior doctor lecturers. These are highly-qualified educators as well as eminent scientists and business practitioners.
The University combines academic as well as business-oriented education; thanks to this wider educational context, UECS students have a comprehensive (both theoretical and practice-oriented) view on economics and are able to function fully in today’s business. The School, beside an attractive and unique programme, guarantees the students internships as well as an advantage of relations with the best scholars highly experienced both in methodology of teaching and practice in business. |
